Can The Battle Royale Return To PoE

Many Path of Exile fans know that the next league, Incursion Challenge League will launch on June 1. However, did you think about a possible return of the battle royale mode?

The battle royale mode, a question on the minds of many collectors of chaos orbs poe who enjoyed the April Fools’ Day “prank” as well as those who missed its brief appearance.

“I want to bring it back And we will do it, it’s just a matter of finding the right time,” Wilson said. He doesn’t know when it could possibly seem because bring the battle royale back would require a good chunk of balancing work to be a more fair (and ergo more fun) experience.

There are also ideas floating round about considering spinning it off as a standalone game as opposed to making it an occasional or permanent mode in PoE. Note, those are not plans, only ideas right now!

There are Pluses to going for a new audience, Wilson pointed out, because the devs will probably serve the players better giving them the PoE experience it signed up for as well as it could be bad to distract players from the limited-time leagues which might frustrate them .

Wilson stated he could just press a button and bring it back up right now, but it would appear just as it was on the holiday. “It was an amazing exercise in getting a game mode added in one day, but it has some balance issues,” he added. “Before we bring it back we want to put some effort into making sure it is more fair so there are more than two ways to win. what it is one of those cases where it takes a day to make it initially And then it takes weeks to make it good.”

The tricky part is finding those weeks to dedicate to the work. Wilson says balancing that with the existing league content creation, which is very time consuming, is difficult. he mentioned that over the last Few releases, devs have gobs of overtime.

Due to that, he has promised that the team can take it easier for now. He said, “I have to put the family situation of our staff ahead of how many things we can release.” His goal is to get through the release of Incursion without etching need over Any.

Buffer as necessary to bring forward mode to back the Schedule, a schedule that the studio has continued to keep time and time again.

Some Misconceptions Players Ever Had In PoE

In Path of Exile, what are some false things you believed about the game’s mechanics in the past? What misconceptions have you had on this game in the past?

For me, for a while I didn’t understand how Blasphemy worked and the way it was worded made me think that it made your character permanently cursed, so with odd exceptions on effect interactions it would only make your character weaker as you typically do not want to be cursed.

Path of Exile

This was also a little while where I was convinced regal orbs could never drop with vendor recipes and divination cards being the only way you could get them. That theory of mine was disproven in act 8 (pre Fall of Oriath).

Let’s see What Misconceptions some collectors of poe exalted orb ever had in this game:

“When I first started playing I thought exalts were clearly worthless compared to alchs, because they only add 1 stat compared to generating an entire item of stats. I was convinced I scammed someone by selling them an exalt for 30 alchs.”

“I didn’t know there was a curse limit on enemies until I got to maps on my first character. The realization that all those cast when damage taken curses on my guardian (I think I had 4 or 5) and all those curse effectiveness nodes had been utterly worthless the whole time was soul crushing.”

“I had absolutely no idea how people regenerated ES so quickly for a long time. I figured it was people lowering the start of ES recharge as low as possible, but that barely made it quick enough. But then I learned about Zealots Oath, Guadian’s Regeneration Ascendecy, and Occultists Regeneration post kill and everything made significantly more sense.”

“It took me about 50 hours to realize that recoloring and adding socketes to items wasnt that expensive. I always looked for the right color in the beginning.”
